Alexander Kroiss graduated from the Medical School of Vienna. In 2011, he subsequently completed his Post-Graduate Specialization in Nuclear Medicine at the University Clinic of Innsbruck where he currently works. In 2007, he obtained a fellowship in Nuclear Medicine at the Klinikum rechts der Isar, Munich, Germany, focusing on nuclear cardiology and oncology. His clinical and scientific activities focus on the diagnosis and treatment of neuroendocrine tumors, with emphasis on paraganglioma disease. He has been an invited speaker at a number of national and international conferences and also acts as a reviewer for several leading journals. Dr. Kroiss is a member of the working group “Pheochromocytoma and Paraganglioma Research Support Organization”.
