Biagio Pecori is a specialist in Nuclear Medicine, Radiation Oncology and Radiology. In 1988 he earned his M.D. and in 1992 he earned a Specialization in Nuclear Medicine, both from Università di Napoli Federico II. In 1995, he obtained the Authorized Physician and Qualified Expert certifications from the Italian government for radiation protection control. In 1997 he earned a Specialization in Radiology and in 2002 he earned a Specialization in Radiation Oncology, both from the Seconda Università di Napoli. In 2014, he earned a Master’s degree in Healthcare Financial and Human Resource Management from Università di Napoli Federico II. Since 1998 he has been at IRCCS, Istituto Nazionale per lo studio e la cura dei tumori, Fondazione G. Pascale, in Naples, Italy; until 2008 he was a Senior Clinical Researcher in Radiation Oncology; since 2008 he is the Section Chief for Abdominal Radiation Oncology. His research and clinical activities are centered around the use of PET-CT and diagnostic imaging in radiation oncology.
