Dr. James C. Knight obtained a B.Sc. in chemistry from Cardiff University (UK) in 2005, where he continued to a Ph.D. in 2009. He subsequently spent two years as a postdoctoral researcher at the Cardiff School of Biosciences and Chemistry Departments developing bimodal (PET/optical) imaging agents. He then moved to the University of Alberta (Canada) where he was awarded an Alberta Innovates Postdoctoral Fellowship and worked on the synthesis and preclinical evaluation of novel PET radiotracers. He is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Oxford and is developing multimodal nuclear (PET/SPECT) and optical agents for in vivo cancer imaging. He has published 22 articles, including three review articles on various aspects of molecular imaging.
