Dr. Francesco Bertagna is a Medical Doctor and Nuclear Medicine Specialist at the Spedali Civili di Brescia, Italy.  Since 2006, he has been an assistant professor specializing in Nuclear Medicine at the University of Brescia. He graduated in 2002, with M.D. from the University of Brescia Medical School, Italy. His thesis was the Left ventricular perfusion and function evaluation during myocardial infarction with GATED-SPECT. In 2002-2003, he completed an internship at the Spedali Civili di Brescia, leading to state medical exams.  In 2006 completed a Thesis on 18FDG-PET/CT evaluation in patients with differential thyroid carcinoma, negative iodine scan and high levels of thyroglobulin.  Dr. Bertagna is a member of the Italian Association of Nuclear Medicine (AIMN) and has attended over 72 congresses, presenting in 22 congresses. Dr. Bertagna has over 85 publications, 19 first author conference proceedings and 45 being co-authored.  Since 2013, he has been on the Editorial board of Current Radiopharmaceuticals.
